Scatter Graph

Scatter Graph to show relationship between hand span length and foot length students in 10R
First we did a plan because we needed to collect the data in the same way eg: shoes off for foot length, hang span palm down. Then we collected the data, recording it on a form (one for each person) after that we put our data on a scatter graph.

I notice the overall direction of the trend line is positive. Overall as the hand span increases the foot length also increases. The relationship is moderate because most of the scatter points are close to the trend line.
So I think there is a relationship between foot length and hand span for 10R.

Being Globally Minded

Report on my NZ export product
In Social Studies this term we were told to research a New Zealand export product and we were to find out were in the world it is sold and who made it also how many shops it has around the world. The product I researched was liquor land I found out that the company liquor land was that New Zealand was the only country that has the company liquor land. I also found out that there are only (100) liquor land stores in new Zealand which is bizarre as I thought there were way more. Another thing I also found out was that the early Egyptians were the one that thought of liquor land with is quite cool. Here is my map my buddy & I created with all the liquor land locations and my understanding of what these phrase mean.Economy - My understanding of this topic is factory all over the country creating things humans need and trading those products to good service stores for us humans to pay for. So the factors are producers and humans are consumers because we as humans trade money for products the producers create.

Trade - My understanding of this topic is giving and receiving good service products or buying and selling products. Trade is another way for saying enhance, swap and replace.

Globalisation - My understanding of this topic is to describe the growing interdependence of the worlds economies, cultures and population across the world. So this topic is growth on a worldwide scale

Liquor Land

Social Studies, in social studies we had to learn how to make a map on google maps and adding locations of a brand we got to chose ourselves. My brand I chose was Liquor land because its a very popular product in New Zealand. The reason why I chose this product is because its very popular and its very popular because they prevent additional healthcare emergencies. Once I chose my brand I researched all the places my product is located in and who created it. Finished that, which I'm now creating my map and adding all the locations Liquor land is located at. The most challenging part of this topic was researching where my product is located because it took a lot of time finding a lot of places where it was located when google wasn't really helpful with places. What are you favourite products from Liquor Land?  Hope you enjoy have a wonderful.

100 Word Story

This is my second 100 word story
The day just started and the confusion had hit. My eyes stared at the board and aunty Falicia’s voice was buzzing around my head and through my ears. Words popped in my face one by one as Falicia spoke my name out. “Bob, Bob, Bob, Bob, BOB” said aunty Falicia. My head shocked and I sat there in silence for as long as it took. “I was still confused” “ I don't know what to do” said Bob. I replied yes Mrs but she just gave me the look. I stood up looked around and no one wanted to help me. Picture from Pobble 365 link on the photo

100 Word Story

In Te Ngahere some experts at blogging have another task to do than doing blogging. We had to choose a picture and describe that picture with 100 words like exact 100 words. Here is my 100 words that describes my picture at the bottom. In the middle of darkness a big red truck came rushing down the street. I walked past in silent and then through my arms up as the truck expanded over my bubble. The truck dashed past my face, all the mist splashed all over my body and down my throat “YUCKKKKKKK”. The heat shoot me to death, my legs dropped I dropped. My body ghosted down earth and flew above my bed. My eyes zipped open, all I saw was a white plan roof and heard heavy rain pour down past my window. It was all a dream, “uhh boring”.

Practicing Activities

For the past few weeks we have been practicing athletics. The athletics we have been doing I am really good at. We are doing high jump, long jump, shot pot, discus and sprints/relays because we will be competing against other schools in a few weeks. What is fun about this is being able to go outside and doing activities. What I did well is participate. What I could do better is make sure my whole group is giving it a try and having fun. I like highjump the best because I always jump high for my short height. We practise athletics every Thursday and Friday but if it rains we will be skipping that day because we wouldn’t want to get sick or get injured. Have you been practicing for athletics day?

Practicing A New Game

Last week after lunch time the year 8’s & 7’s went out together to play 4 games of Tee-ball with Whaea kasey. Once we got inside we got split into 2 groups, one group was batting and the other was the fielders. First round my group was the fielders which I didn’t stay on the field I went on base 1. Once everyone in the other group had a turn at batting it was swap over time which means my group was the batters next. I went third and I hit the ball soft so the ball wouldn’t go as far and that they had to ran closer. I also had time to run to base one. Once my teammates all had there turn we just keep swapping over until until we were ready to go back into our classroom. Tee-ball is honestly fun thanks to Whaea Kasey. Here's a picture of my classmate hitting the ball of the T
