Task: Imagine Imagine that you were able to travel back in time to visit a family in the 1930s. What special gifts or treats would you like to bring with you? What about you?
Label:summer learning
I would likely bring fruits, lollies, games, clothes, sea food, drinks, pop corn and ice creams with chocolate sauce. Also I will get me pizza, drinks, games, ice blocks, mango's and appeals.
Hi Anyah,
ReplyDeleteRuby here from the Summer Learning Journey team! It's great to see that you've been completed this activity. Keep it up! :)
Wow! You would take a lot of food. A lot of the food we eat today is very different from what they would have been eating in the 1930s. What food do you think they would have found the strangest?
Good idea to take some games! I'm sure that everyone would enjoy those even back in the 1930s. What games would you take? I think I would take some classic board games like Cluedo or Pictionary.
I look forward to reading more of your blog over the summer.
Cheers,
Ruby.
Hey Anyah.
ReplyDeleteIt's great to be on your blog here, My name is Clare from the Summer Learning journey and I can see you have done such a great job with your task and thinking really hard about what you would take with you back in time to another family.
I think families would love to see what you have brought them. Would you tell them all about it and what each food meant to you and why you chose to bring that food with you.
Hope to hear back from you soon.
Clare
